John has had many years of experience in ministry through teaching, preaching, and evangelism since 1979. He is a graduate of the Bear Valley School of Biblical Studies continuing his post-graduate work in missions with a special emphasis on evangelism. He attended Oklahoma Christian University, is a graduate of the Goethe Institute in Murnau, Germany, and served his country in the Navy aboard the USS Yosemite.

Some of his mission work includes: pulpit preacher for the Lakeview Church of Christ, which was in a ghetto area of Chicago, serving as a missionary stationed in Austria, smuggling Bibles behind the iron curtain and preaching for our servicemen stationed in Germany.

John served as a full-time preacher for over 25 years at various congregations of God’s people, also engaging in gospel meetings across the nation and overseas. John has also been a small business entrepreneur and is presently a senior regional VP at Portfolio Strategies, Inc., a third-party money management company, assisting financial advisors to better serve their clients.
